Profile: Young Professionals in Foreign Policy

Young Professionals in Foreign Policy is an amazing association and resource for entry level professionals interested in international affairs. It began over 5 years ago with just 20 members but has recently exploded to a 5,000+ strong association that is emerging as a potent force on the foreign policy scene. I will let the YPFP website describe the rest;

"Our Membership
As a dynamic community of future foreign policy leaders, YPFP has a diverse membership that crosses the divides of national boundaries, political ideology, and employment sectors.

Our members realize that no one joins the field of foreign policy to work in a vacuum. We recognize the need for collaboration, communication, and shared learning experience. YPFP provides those valuable opportunities to our members, which is why our mission has resonated with young professionals around the globe. In just five years, YPFP has grown from a small group of friends to a global nonprofit organization with more than 5,000 members."

And the best part is, YPFP is in DC, Brussels, London and New York! Upcoming DC events include a lecture on Careers in International Development on July 15th and another amazing lecture on How to Choose A Graduate Program on July 27th! Annual dues are only $35.00 and the networking possibilities are endless. Do yourself a favor and join up!
